Abstract
Mathematics plays an important role in applications in various areas of the Sciences. The various topics of mathematics involve concepts, properties and important theorems that may offer difficulty or limitation. For learning based on thinking, it is possible to use the visualization of knowledge as a didactic tool in the teaching of mathematics. It is possible to create computer simulations, for students to develop skills and abilities related to thinking. The OCTAVE program and the commercial version MATLAB allow to create interactive programs, which perform numerical calculation and simulations in two and three dimensions. Using these programs you can prepare classes, recording the simulations and generating gif files to be inserted in slide presentations allowing a numerical and visual explanation that develops resolving skills in the student and generating teaching materials for the teacher, in this work a code is provided in the GNU octave program.
