Abstract
The demands of today’s society show the need to transform educational models into models focused on the integral development of the student. This article recounts the experience of integrating two strategies: Cooperative Learning and Flipped Learning to change the way of teaching the Innovation and Creativity subject. The study followed a quasi-experimental design involving 23 students. To verify the effectiveness of the experience, a questionnaire with 20 reagents was administered that collected the students’ perception of the way in which the subject was developed. The results showed that the combination of strategies helped develop students’ learning and critical analysis skills, improving their teamwork and problem-solving skills. It is concluded that active learning strategies, such as those employed, should be integrated into teaching practice to achieve greater motivation and participation of students.
