In this paper is designed and developed an optimized circuit of the output stage of an electrical stimulation system. This system is bases in a "constant current source controlled by voltage" topology, it uses a N-channel MOSFET, comparison circuit and a feedback based on two operational amplifiers. The tests were done first with resistive loads and then with real patients through a rectangular monofasic signal. The used topology and the architecture of the operational amplifier guarantee reliability in the wave form of the output stage and it lets an optimized design through the reduction of size of components.
