Abstract
With the approval and enforcement of University Law N ° 30220, an educational reform was initiated at a higher level in Peru, forcing private and public universities to begin a process of educational restructuring, in order to comply with the basic quality conditions required. An important point in this context is the evaluation process that allows assessing the level of achievement achieved of competences in students, as a regulating element of learning. Thus, the present research, with a quantitative approach and descriptive scope, has aimed to carry out the measurement and evaluation of educational competences in higher education students of the Professional School of Chemical Engineering of the National University of San Agustín of Arequipa period 2018-B, whose activities performed, instruments used, and results obtained are reported in the present investigation.
