Abstract
The study analyzes the evolution of intolerant messages in the 2021 second round electoral process carried out in Peru, reflecting the deep cultural fractures that have been for many years and were hidden from the media, the characteristics of this process were unique due to the pandemic, where payment relevance of the virtual platform, it extracted discriminatory sentiments through anonymous names, disguised names and in other cases with its original name. Where false news, generalizations and stereotypes are the main ingredient of belligerent escalation. The methodology carried out is the documentary analysis of digital reactions on the Facebook social network that becomes relevant due to the COVI-19 pandemic, among the relevant results is the hidden cultural identity that in a scenario of political controversy emerged in an unusual way, escalating to intense levels of social belligerence; consistently nurtured by false information.
