Abstract
This is an Arduino-based low-cost system capable of measure, record and transmits meteorological, inertial, and positioning data in real-time from remote places. This prototype consists of sensors (accelerometers, gyroscopes, thermometers, magnetometers, GPS, barometer, hygrometer, Ultraviolet (UV), and air quality sensor) to determine weather or unusual movement events as earthquakes in remote places. The Embedded System can be connected to a Raspberry Pi to transmit real-time data through MQTT and HTTP protocols. The information can be recollected by any device connected to the internet. Also, the system is capable to recollect data for earthquakes alerts and for environmental monitoring.
