Every institution has a hierarchical and divisional order, with which it establishes the chain of command and decision-making, the problem is how to redesign and document the organizational system, and in doing so what elements should be taken into account to guide the work that leads for this purpose This article shows a model of composition of three instruments: organization manual, procedures and functions, which must be developed according to five qualities that an organization must fulfill, only the mechanism of its elaboration and its contrast with these qualities will be discussed. It should be noted that in order to carry out various works such as quality certifications, or to build information systems, it is very useful to have the documented organizational design, so that the stakeholders and the processes to be intervened can be clearly identified; with the implementation of computer systems.
