Abstract

The significant presence of Information and Communication Technologies in educational settings raises the need to recognise the effects generated, fundamentally, with the emergence of Blended Learning developed in Peru. It is, therefore, necessary to determine the evolution of scientific productivity on the university theses that investigate it. For this purpose, the systematic review was the appropriate method to identify, evaluate, interpret and synthesise its significant aspects. The theses have been retrieved from RENATI (National Repository of Research Works), produced in the last 12 years. The results show that the analysed theses reveal specific prevalence: of the postgraduate theses over those of undergraduates, of a growing evolution in the last five years, of a similar development in public and private universities, of a high centrality in the capital, and a sparse distribution throughout the country. It has also been evidenced, the prioritisation of some domains during the training, the cognitive over the procedural and attitudinal, of a more individualised work that participates and of a similar development of disciplinary and transversal contents. The study also shows the achievements made from the training supports, both technological and tutorial, showing an inevitable convergence. In conclusion, the findings reveal the distances and proximity of Blended Learning from its international equivalents.
