Resumen

The widespread use of mobile devices offers the opportunity to take advantage of them for educational purposes. In childhood, these devices offer the possibility of enhancing and complementing training processes through the use of applications designed for specific purposes. Based on the review of the related literature, this paper describes the design of an application to support the psychomotor development of children between 3 and 5 years of age. The application considers 4 modules, the first supports special orientation skills, the second the knowledge of the alphabet, the third the recognition of animals and the last the recognition of geometric figures through the assembly of a puzzle. The frontend and backend features of the different modules are described. Finally, the expected results are listed and it is concluded that a methodological proposal for motor activities presents positive advances, improving basic motor skills in boys and girls.
