Analyzing the different studies that have been carried out on learning, motivation has become a means that influences the capacities of students to learn in Universities. This study aims to determine the effect caused by the motivation applied to learning the Legal Argumentation course in times of pandemic. The research method used is quantitative through the translated questionnaire (MSLQ) “Questionnaire of Learning and Motivation Strategies” by Pintrich et al, (1991), consisting of questions about motivation and learning strategies, applied to students of third year students of the Legal Argument course, with a total of 206 students. The results showed that a proper motivation causes the student to learn adequately, in this way. Therefore is concluded that the greater the motivation from the teacher to the students, the better the learning and the interest that arouses in the course will be, despite the pandemic that we are going through worldwide.
