In that sense, this study investigates the perceptual assessments that students have about the characteristics of the RSU in a public university in southern Peru. Following a quantitative approach, information was collected from 326 students from different academic areas, through the Evaluation Questionnaire. The results showed the high reliability of the instrument. Additionally, the favorable perception of the characteristics of the RSU implemented in the university was recognized, which resulted in a high commitment to social change in the direction proposed by (Retolaza, 2010).
