Planificación y producción de cortos científicos como estrategia didáctica para el desarrollo del pensamiento crítico

Resumen

The didactic video, as an audiovisual medium, is an element of expression with great potential. This work proposes a proposal for a didactic strategy to teach regular basic education students how to create scientific short films; Critical thinking skills are integrated, and methodological strategies are applied from the planning, creation and evaluation of the process of making a scientific short film. The beginning, development and closing activities for the phases of the didactic strategy are described and the instruments used are shown. The results, analyzed under a quantitative approach, show that in the self-assessment, 98% of the scientific shorts were correct from the intellectual value, 34% were correct in the functional value and 70% in the emotional value. It is concluded that the construction of student knowledge involves knowing how to plan, create and evaluate the process of their activities, developing critical thinking for decision making.
